Financial Independence

We define financial independence as having sufficient money to do what you want to do, when you want to do it, without going to work unless you choose to. For most of us becoming financially independent is our dream and we need to plan to make it happen. We can assist with:
  • Goal setting. How much will you really need to live the life you have dreamed of?
  • Strategy development – what is the best strategy for you taking into account your personal factors and situation?
  • Setting up your structures – ensuring you use the correct structures to maximize tax benefits and minimize risks and protect assets. Estate planning is also considered so a trust may be appropriate for your needs together with a gifting programme.
  • Risk minimisation – what can be done to minimize the risks of natural disaster, business failure, being sued, relationship break up, ill health or death?
  • Implementing the plan – we can help you get started and introduce you to people well qualified to assist you.
  • Monitoring results and reviewing strategy on a regular basis – we are not financial planners who monitor your portfolio. Be we will meet with you at least once a year to ensure your financial independence plans are still on track and that you are getting the results that you desire.
